Elsevier Journal of Humanities, Communication and Technology Studies publishes in May, July and December a year. The editorial team's high-quality publications in recognized journals contributes to the high-quality of papers published in EJHCTS. The journal publishes both online and in print with Digital Object Identifier (D.O.I).

We are excited to announce that Elsevier Journal of Humanities, Communication and Technology Studies, is accepting papers for its Vol.2, Number 1 due for publication by May, 2024. The journal welcomes articles exploring any area in the Humanities such as Languages, Linguistics, Literature, Music, Performing Arts, History, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Fine Arts, Cultural Studies, Communication and Technology Studies etc. It publishes scholarly articles that emphasize research, development and application within the field of humanities.

 Instructions to Authors

  1. To submit manuscripts, you need to create an account on the journal’s webpage https://ijohacs.com/index.php/pub/about/submissions or send your paper to
    billjohnsongonzalez@gmail.com. Follow the current (6th) edition of the MLA Handbook or Chicago Manual or APA style.
  2. Manuscripts must be in both Microsoft Word.Doc. and pdf files
  3. Manuscripts should not exceed 7,000 words, including abstracts and references
  4. Manuscripts may be written in English, French, Arabic, Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa, double- spaced, including quotations and references and in 12- point Times New Roman font.
  5. Titles must be in bold, 14-point Times New Roman font while sub-titles remain 12-point, bold and initial letter cap. All abbreviations and acronyms should be written in full at first appearance in the manuscript text.
  6. All manuscripts must include a brief but captivating abstract which should not exceed 200 words and should describe the scope of the work, methodology, theoretical framework, and the findings. The abstract should also include a set of 5 keywords (preferably in pairs) listed in order of importance to assist in indexing the article.
  7. Manuscripts must not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
